The Accreditation Process

HomeThe Accreditation Process

The Accreditation Process – The process begins with registration.  Through the Registration Process, the Grenadian populace is assured that Post-Secondary Institutions in Grenada are delivering Quality Education and Training programmes to its students.  A Registered Institution is recognized by GNAB as having at least met the fundamental requisite standards and policies for delivering Post-Secondary Education.  The process is a rigorous, thorough one where an institution under review is critically evaluated in five (5) different areas:

  1. Legal and Regulatory Requirements
  2. Governance and Administration
  3. Resource Management
  4. Teaching and Learning
  5. Quality Management and Review

Each area is evaluated to ensure that the institution meets the standards outlined by GNAB in its Criteria Standards and Required Evidence for Institutional Registration
